What you need to know about the profit rate in IQ Option
The profit rate depends on the session
Here, I only analyze 3 pairs of currency: AUD/USD, JPY/USD, EUR/USD.
The financial market has 4 main trading sessions: Sydney session, Tokyo session, London session, and New York session. These sessions are also known by other familiar names, Australian, Asian, European, and American ones.
The following are the opening and closing hours of trading sessions in the GMT+7 time zone:
– Sydney session is from 5 am to 2 pm (in summer), and from 4 am to 1 pm (in winter)
– Tokyo session is from 6 am to 3 pm (in summer), and from 6 am to 3 pm (in winter)
– London session is from 2 pm to 11 pm (in summer), and from 3 pm to 0 am (in winter)
– New York session is from 7 pm to 4 am of the next morning (in summer), and from 8 pm to 5 am of the next morning (in winter)
Asian session is the session where the profit rate of the currency pairs is considered the lowest. The IQ Option platform calculates and customizes this rate in the most beneficial way. This is also the least volatile session compared to others. The average profit rate ranges from 60% to 70%.
European session is the session with the highest proportion of participants. It is also the most volatile session. And at that time, the profit rate is quite attractive which ranges from 75% to 88%.
USD/JPY pair offers a fairly high profit rate.
EUR/USD currency pair offers quite an attractive profit rate to players.
Finally, American session offers a relatively acceptable profit rate. The profit rate for successful transactions ranges from 70% to 80%.
The profit rate changes with the news of fluctuations
When there is news that strongly affects the volatility of an asset, the profit rate changes accordingly. That is when the price is unpredictable, so the rate also rockets unbelievably.
Most of the inexperienced new traders are easily pulled by the high profit rate. Be alert because prices are impossible to predict and volatility is very risky for investing. It can be said that the higher the profit rate, the greater the risk. They are proportional to each other.
The high profit rate in the OTC market
OTC market is also known as a decentralized market. It does not rely on a fixed trading platform like an exchange market (centralized market). It is operated by a system of competitive bidding and negotiation. That is, we trade with the price offered by IQ Option but the reference is unknown.
This deems to gamble with the platform so the profit rate is extremely high (from 85% to 99%).

Do not open more than 5 orders a day.
Only trade with 3 currency pairs of USD/JPY, AUD/USD, EUR/USD.
Only open transactions with the expiration time of 10 – 30 minutes.

HIGHER = Bullish trend + support + signal candles.
LOWER = Bearish trend + resistance + signal candles.
Entry points on 20/04/2020, with the T.L.S trading strategy
1st order: The Tweezer Top candlestick pattern formed right at the resistance level = Opened a 10-minute LOWER order.
2nd order: Downtrend + resistance + test candlestick = Opened a 15-minute LOWER order.
3rd order: Downtrend + resistance + test candlestick = Opened a 10-minute LOWER order.
4th order: Downtrend + resistance + (Shooting star) test candlestick = Opened a 10-minute LOWER order.
After 4th orders, the downtrend started to level off and went sideways. The trend was no longer stable. Opening orders at this time is quite risky. I decided to stop trading after the 4th order.

Entry points on 22/04/2020 with the T.L.S trading strategy
The main trend is bullish, so try to open HIGHER orders following the trend.
1st order: Uptrend + support + (Bullish Pin Bar) test candlestick = Opened a 15-minute HIGHER order.
2nd order: Uptrend + support + (Hammer) test candlestick = Opened a 10-minute HIGHER order.
3rd order: Uptrend + support + (Dragonfly Doji) test candlestick = Opened a 15-minute order.
4th order: Uptrend + support + (Bearish Marubozu) test candlestick = Opened a 15-minute HIGHER order.
At this point, I felt that the uptrend had gradually weakened. This made me hard to predict.
So I waited for more candlesticks to verify the trend clearly. But the market began to go unpredictably. So, it was necessary to stay out. I turned off the computer, stopped trading, and did other stuff.
In one word
The 3rd week brought a profit of $199 via long-term orders following the trend. It is better to trade with a low profit rate on long-term orders but a high probability of winning. Choose effective long-term and short-term transactions when opening an order.
But for me, I prefer orders with the expiration time of 10 – 30 minutes. It’s partly due to a pre-established habit of avoiding negative emotions. And according to my transaction log, the winning rate of long-term orders overwhelms the short-term orders.
