It is shaped like the letter M (Bullish Gartley) or W (Bearish Gartley) on the chart.<\/p>\n<p>It consists of 5 points on the chart. Each segment in the pattern must correspond to specific Fibonacci levels as follows:<\/p>\n<p>XA: The XA range can be any price action on the chart. There are no specific requirements regarding the movement of the XA segment.<\/p>\n<p>AB: The AB amplitude should be 61.8% of the XA amplitude.<\/p>\n<p>BC: BC&#8217;s move is in the opposite direction to AB. It ends at the 0.382 or 0.886 Fibonacci level of segment AB.<\/p>\n<p>CD: The movement of CD is in the opposite direction to BC. Later:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If BC amplitude is equal to 38.2% of AB amplitude, then CD amplitude will be equal to 127.2% of BC amplitude.<\/li>\n<li>If BC amplitude is equal to 88.6% of AB amplitude, then CD amplitude will be equal to 161.8% of BC amplitude.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>AD: Final rule of the Gartley. When the CD\u2019s move is complete, you should measure the AD segment amplitude. For easy tracking, you should mark the important points X, A, B, C, D on your chart. Then check the markers with the Fibonacci tool to make sure the pattern is correct.<\/p>\n<p>Enter a BUY order at point D if the pattern is Bullish Gartley. Stop loss is placed below point D depending on the risk acceptance of each person.
